The conference venue on the university campus is about 5 km from the main railway station and about 15 km from the airport and can be easily reached by public transport from there.

This also applies to travel by car as there are sufficient parking spaces available on the campus.

Leave the station in direction south (city center). Taxis and street cars leave directly from the station forecourt. You pay about 15 euro for the onward journey to the University of Bremen. It is cheaper by street car: Line 6 in the direction of the University will take you to your destination in about 15 minutes. Get off at stop Universität/Zentralbereich.

Line 6 usually runs every 10 minutes, more frequently during rush hour.

Always get off at stop "Universität -Zentralbereich", where the bus lines 21, 22, 28 and 31 also stop. The way from there to the nearby conference office (building GW2, room B 2.860) is signposted.

Information about the tickets in the public transport network

For journeys by bus and tram within Bremen you need tickets of price level 1, which are available in the vehicles and/or advance booking offices such as the BSAG Customer Center on the station forecourt:

• Single ticket: 2.80 Euro, in the vehicles and in the BSAG Customer Center
• Four- or ten-ticket: 10.20 / 25.50 Euro, in the BSAG Customer Center
• Day ticket: 8.10 Euro, in the vehicles and in the BSAG Customer Center
• 7-day ticket: 23.40 Euro, in the BSAG Customer Center
• Night line surcharge (if bus or tram is marked with an "N"): 1.00 Euro, in the vehicles

When coming from highway A1, change at the Bremer Kreuz onto the A27 in the direction of Bremen-Bremerhaven. Leave the A27 at exit Universität / Horn-Lehe and drive in the direction of Centrum/Universität. Turn right at the second possibility (Universitätsallee) and then right again (Enrique-Schmidt-Straße). There you can either use the parking lot (daily fee 1.00 €) or the underground car park in the GW2 building (daily fee 1.50 €).

The fee has to be paid at the entrance. You can pay in cash (have the right amount ready; not all machines give change) or with a money card.

At the end of Enrique-Schmidt-Straße take the stairs to the left onto the boulevard, then turn left again into building GW2 and left again up the stairs to the conference office (room B 2.860).

You pay about 24 euro for the onward journey from Bremen airport (BRE) to the University of Bremen by taxi. Street car line 6 goes directly from the airport to the University (journey time approx. 35 minutes). Line 6 usually runs every 10 minutes, more frequently during rush hour. You get off at stop Universität/Zentralbereich.
